Should i get wii classic controller or get a Nintendo gamecube controller?

Im going to get the wii points on a card….and i need to know when i download the virtual wii games off of the wii channel….is it best to control these games with a Nintendo Gamecube Controller or a wii classic controller? which one should i get?

I never bought a Classic Controller because I already have a GameCube controller, so I always used that for VC games.

When I did use a Classic Controller, I found the placement of the Joy Stick to weird.

Also, you can also use a GameCube controller to play GameCube games.
